Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and client-focused Licensed Public Adjuster to represent property owners in navigating insurance claims related to storm, fire, and water damage. In this role, you will advocate on behalf of the insured, ensuring they receive a fair and accurate settlement while providing exceptional support throughout the claims process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect damaged properties and assess losses related to storms, wind, hail, fire, water, and other covered perils

  • Review insurance policies and educate clients about their coverage and claim rights

  • Prepare and present detailed estimates and documentation to support the claim using software like Xactimate

  • Negotiate with insurance carriers on behalf of clients to secure the maximum allowable compensation

  • Maintain clear communication with clients, contractors, attorneys, and insurance representatives

  • Guide clients through each step of the claim process, from filing to settlement

  • Ensure compliance with all state and industry regulations governing public adjusting

Qualifications:

  • Active Public Adjuster License in applicable state(s)

  • 2+ years of experience handling residential and/or commercial property claims

  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and property damage assessments

  • Proficiency in estimating software (Xactimate preferred)

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple claims with accuracy and professionalism

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to property sites

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working CAT (catastrophe) events or large-loss claims

  • Background in restoration, construction, or insurance adjusting

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Job Type: Contract or Full-Time
Compensation: Commission-based or fee-per-claim structure
Location: Field-based with regional travel to affected properties
