Restoration Estimator – Storm Damage & Insurance Claims

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-driven Restoration Estimator to join our storm restoration team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for evaluating property damage from storms and disasters, preparing accurate repair estimates, and supporting the claims process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits to assess storm-related property damage (roofing, siding, interior, etc.)

• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates using Xactimate or similar estimating software

• Interpret scopes of work and insurance policies to align estimates with coverage

• Collaborate with project managers, adjusters, and homeowners throughout the claim lifecycle

• Identify discrepancies and negotiate with insurance carriers when necessary

• Maintain organized documentation, reports, and communication records

• Support the sales and production teams with estimate revisions and updates as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in estimating storm restoration or insurance repair work

• Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and industry pricing

• Proficiency in estimating software such as Xactimate (required)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills:

• Background in insurance adjusting or restoration project management

• Familiarity with claims processes and insurance provider platforms

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Job Type: Full-Time or Contract
Compensation: Based on experience; may include base + commission or per-project structure
Location: Local and/or travel-based depending on project sites and storm deployment
